Interim Associate Vice Chancellor of Information Security
Before joining Maricopa in 2021, Josh held information security leadership, architecture, consulting, and engineering roles in his consulting company and at American Airlines and Wells Fargo. He has led teams and provided hands-on expertise in risk mitigation, vulnerability management, remediation, legal and regulatory compliance, and established enterprise-scale information security programs.
Josh has worked in the industry over the past fifteen years and has a Master of Professional Studies in the Field of Homeland Security Information Security and Forensics and a Bachelor's degree in IT Management. Josh’s other notable certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) designations. An information security expert and trusted adviser, he has spoken on multiple occasions with federal law enforcement agencies in Washington, DC, on cybersecurity and law enforcement initiatives.
