IT Director, Infrastructure and Customer Care
David Clark is the Information Technology Director for Infrastructure and Customer Care for Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) and is responsible for providing leadership and support for MCCCD's data centers, cloud and IT infrastructure. In this role, David leads the IT Engineering teams developing and operating MCCCD's telecommunications, global networking, virtualization, databases, cloud management and most things core infrastructure.
David brings over 30 years of experience divided between technology product development and IT operations, with over seven (7) years of experience in Higher Education operations. Dave has recently held positions as Chief Technology Officer at San Tan Technologies, as Software-As-A-Service Director at Ipro Technologies, and as Director of Infrastructure Applications at the University of Phoenix. David began his career in Telecommunications leading advanced research and development programs such as speech recognition, intelligent carrier provisioning, and national directory services. He looks forward to leading MCCCD IT for providing the best Educational services.
David holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, College Park majoring in computer science. Dave also undertook EE courses at Florida Institute of Technology as a firmware developer for Harris Government Systems. David has completed many corporate professional managerial programs and is always excited for insightful people development.
