After an extensive request for proposal (RFP) process and Governing Board approval, the District has selected a new third-party help desk service provider called BlackBeltHelp. The new partner replaces Anthology (Blackboard), the current service provider for several locations. BlackBeltHelp will provide 24/7/365 District-wide technical support for students and employees for systems such as the Student Information System Student Center, Canvas, RioLearn, Google, Webex, Duo MFA, password reset, and other essential customer services. Anthology (Blackboard) will continue to support the District throughout the transition, providing ongoing customer service for students and employees during the Fall 2023 semester peak period. Activities to transition from Anthology to BlackBeltHelp began in early July 2023 – expected to complete by the end of October 2023, pending unforeseen circumstances.
